I LOVE my super yogi cards. They are my new favourite resource to use when teaching yoga in school as they lend themselves to so many areas of the curriculum. The experience and knowledge of the creators really shines through. Superheroes is a great theme to explore to help develop children’s sense of self and Personal and Social development. I recently used them as inspiration for transition day activities with Early Years/KS1 children. The children were able to use the cards, adjectives and poses to communicate feelings about big changes in their lives and had so much FUN unleashing their inner ‘super yogi.’ Just MAGICAL!
I purchased two sets of these amazingly beautiful cards, firstly for my Year 1/2 class at school and secondly for my own children. Everyone absolutely loves them! My girls have spent many hours trying out the different poses and are able to access the clearly explained instructions with ease. I often peak round the door to see the floor covered in cards and the girls copying the lively characters.
An inspirational set of resources which can be used to facilitate not only a love of yoga and physical movement but also to develop body confidence and self awareness among all ages. My children love these and I can see huge potential to use these in a range of settings both formal and informal including educational and therapeutic. Beautifully designed with the ability to capture the imagination and develop a generation of super yogis. It’s fun for parents too !
